New International student orientation
The first week experience is designed to prepare you for student life at a U.S. institution. From September 2-11, you will be oriented on everything related to student life at North Central College. Some of the sessions will include:
Cultural Comparisons: Exploring Roommate Expectations Health Insurance and the Dyson Wellness Center at NCC Technology Orientation Immigration sessions Cultural Differences in the Classroom Academic Advising (Meeting with your academic advisor Professor Shindler) Opening a New Bank Account ...and much more! Also, there will be many fun activities to help you adjust to our campus and meet new friends. These opportunities include: International Roommate Day A Welcome Breakfast A Welcome Picnic The Torch Light Parade Chicago Excursions: Double Decker Bus Tour and Boat Dance Casino Night Comedy Night Soccer Matches ... and much more! Students starting any other term other than Fall will receive a mini version of the orientation. |
